| Carnaby Street is famous I guess. Along with
Kingly Court it's a popular place to shop. Souvenirs are
about 2 limeybucks cheaper here than around the big sites.
But for even cheaper trinkets, go to Oxford Street north
of Soho. |

Kingly Court is a limey style shopping
mall. It's full of great little shops. The employees
I talked to were actually nice here. (this is unusual
in London) If you are into racy leather, check out Harriet's
Muse on
the
top
floor...

This is near La Strada. |

| The Coach & Horses at the intersection
of Bruton Street and Bruton Place takes up all of a many
hundreds of years
old house. There's a very interesting story about the man
who built the house. He got into lots of trouble when,
er, well maybe you should just stop by for a pint and read
the brochure. It's not far from Carnaby/Kingly and it's
a nice spot to have a beer. |

The United States Embassy is located
on Grosvenor Square on the site of Dorian Grey's old
house.
Here the American flag flies
at half mast in honor of President Reagan.
The American eagle is missing its head in honor of President
Bush.
