Instruments of Death

Since the Brits are rather proud of their once mighty empire, and like all mighty empires it was founded upon the deaths of those weaker than the empire builders, they dedicate quite a lot of space to instuments of death.

This is an example of an early instrument of death. It is made of stone. To see a much more recent German made metal version mouse over the image.

The German one is 4000 years old. One would think the style would have changed just a bit in that amount of time...

Paleolithic Cannon Balls: long before the invention of gun powder, the scottish, who are rather proud of their balls, fashioned these balls out of stone. Mouse over the blank space below to see what Scottsmen conceal beneath their...stuff.

balll photos are to scale.

The handles on these swords are too small for adult hands, therefore they are believed to have come from Hungarian Hobbits. They were found with a wizard's staff, visble by mousing over the picture.

Okay, you're asking: Dude, it's a violin. How can a violin be an Instrument of Death? Well technically it's not. But it derives from one. Mouse over to see.
