Walking, it’s one minute away
from Piccadilly Circus and the Underground, 10 minutes
from the bars, and
15 minutes from the Houses of Parliament and other major
sites.
Several times a week the hotel staff
organizes drinking parties at some local pubs, which
kindly give HUGE discounts
to hotel patrons. At one that we went to it cost 1
limeybuck for a pint of good beer.
The hotel has a common room with cheap internet access,
cable TV, and reasonably priced vending machines. They
have breakfast every morning at 7:30 in the appropriately
named Breakfast Room. They also have secure luggage storage
during the day.
You are likely to meet people from
all over the world, some of whom may even become your
friends. It is not
uncommon for bunkmates to look out for each other. I
had my laptop and digital camera with me and never had
a problem with any of my bunkmates trying to rip me off.
I liked it so much that I stayed there
three seperate times.
