Begging for Scraps
Begging for scraps is the travellers nightmare. Obey these
two simple rules to seriously reduce the odds that you
will have to suffer that indignity.
1. Bring as much food with you as possible.
Hooliator has no food allergies and therefore brought
lots of nuts and dried fruits. Protein bars are good too,
since you will probably do LOTS of walking and come back
with HUGE leg muscles.
2. Eat cheap healthy food.
Hooliator found several good and
cheap places to eat and is more than happy to tell you
where to find them. These will be detailed in the "On
the Cheap" section.
